Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
- Fry oil
Preparation method:
- Place the cassava in a pressure cooker, cover with water and cook for 25 minutes, over medium heat, after bringing to pressure.
- Turn off, let the pressure release naturally and open the pan.
- Remove the cassava filaments and mash them while still hot with a fork in a bowl and add the butter and salt.
- Spread into a greased medium rectangular pan, flatten with a spoon and place in the freezer for 40 minutes.
- Remove from the freezer and, using a knife, cut it into squares.
- Place in the freezer for another 2 hours.
- Remove the cassava squares and fry them in boiling oil until golden.
- Drain on absorbent paper and serve.
