Tips for making stale bread fresh again

Regardless of the name, every Brazilian home cannot miss a baked sandwich for breakfast or afternoon. But if you overdo it and have leftovers the next day, know that it is possible to recover stale bread and make it fresh again.

French bread doesn’t stay the same after being stored in the bag for a while and can become chewy, mushy and even hard as a rock. Yet the solution is there and you don’t even have to think about throwing it away!

To help you avoid waste at home, we have selected three tips using different appliances that will solve the problem of stale bread.

In the oven

The simplest solution to revive stale bread and make it fresh again is to use a traditional oven. Simply preheat the oven and pop the roll in for about 5 minutes. Don’t forget to consume immediately to ensure better satisfaction!

To the air fryer

What can’t you do with an air fryer, right? For fresh savory bread, pour a little water over the crust to make it moist, and heat it for at least five minutes. It will be crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside.

In the pan

This technique is great for making bread on the griddle with something you thought you couldn’t use anymore. Cut the French bread in half and add a little water to each half. Then pour olive oil into a greased pan, heat it and toast the bread to eat immediately.
