Sirloin steak: find out how to prepare the classic recipe

Sirloin Steak Recipe

Preparation time: 20 minutes (+1 hour soaking)

Performance: 5 servings

Difficulty level: Easy

Ingredients:

  • 800g pork loin steaks
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 glass of dry white wine
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 4 tablespoons of oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 onions sliced
  • Chopped green chilli to taste

Preparation method:

  1. Place the loin in a bowl, season it with garlic, wine, salt, pepper and leave to macerate for 1 hour.
  2. Heat a large frying pan with oil and fry the steaks over high heat for 3 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. Remove, transfer to a plate and set aside.
  4. Return the pan to medium heat with the butter and fry the onions until golden brown.
  5. Spread over steaks and sprinkle with green chili. Serve, if desired, accompanied with mashed potatoes.
