Preparation time: 2 hours (+30 minutes in the freezer)

Ingredients:

  • 500g chopped milk chocolate
  • Chopped chocolate sprinkles for sprinkling

Cake

  • 3 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of oil (tea).
  • 2 carrots chopped
  • 2 cups sugar (tea)
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing

Filling and covering

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • 1 pack of cream (200 g)

Preparation method:

  1. Melt the chocolate in a bain-marie and, using a chocolate brush, spread a layer of it into two 500g Easter egg moulds.
  2. Turn the molds upside down to remove excess and place in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  3. Repeat the procedure of spreading the chocolate and placing it in the freezer 2 more times.
  4. Leave in the freezer until the shapes are opaque.
  5. Unmold and store in the refrigerator.
  6. For the cake, reserve the flour and baking powder in a bowl.
  7. Blend the other cake ingredients in a blender and pour them into the bowl with the flour.
  8. Mix and arrange in a 30cm diameter round cake tin, buttered and floured.
  9. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 30 minutes or until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  10. Leave to cool and crumble slightly with your hands. Reserve.
  11. In a pan, cook the condensed milk, butter and chocolate powder, stirring constantly, until it thickens.
  12. Remove from the heat and stir in the cream.
  13. In the egg cavity, make a layer of cake, a layer of brigadeiro and another layer of cake.
  14. Cover with brigadeiro and sprinkle with split sprinkles.
  15. Prepare and deliver your order.
