A Tapetah has just launched a new product inspired by sustainability. In the midst of the growing ecological demands of the contemporary world, the Carpet in the box It is a manufactured part entirely from recycled PET bottles (40 units per m²). Its aim goes further and seeks to stimulate creativity and trigger a transformation of routine: less time dedicated to cell phones and more family and social interaction.
This perspective makes the Na Caixa rug not only an aesthetically beautiful object. The product stands out for its significant contribution to more eco-conscious approaches.
As in an imaginative board game, the model is chosen by you at the time of purchase, via e-commerce or directly at the Tapetah Casa physical store. With varied prints, including colors and designs, including geometric ones, Carpet in the Box takes shape, with 50 x 50 cm sheets joined by twins made exclusively with the predominant colors in the chosen layout. And this is where the fun begins: it is possible, when finalizing the purchase, choose to receive the carpet with the plates joined or loose to assemble with friends and family.
The composition is very simple. The plates are joined by personalized snap cufflinks according to the chosen shades, with a soft touch and without the need to use any tools. To make things even easier, each plate comes with 28 evenly spaced holes that indicate where the cufflinks should be mounted. As the name suggests, the product arrives in your hands wrapped in a beautiful box.

And because design is in Tapetah’s DNA, the first collection features prints and designs signed by Studio 80e8, Studio Tapetahand was also inspired by the work “TRAMAS”, by the architect from Pernambuco Vital Pessoa de Melo. From Estúdio 80e8, the Arco, Copacabana, Vela and Portal lines outline different free design proposals, ranging between palettes ranging from blue to red, passing through shades of pink and green.

Studio Tapetah creates the Vitruvius collection, a synthesis of geometric compositions, angles and divisions which, together, propose dynamic ways of thinking about the use of carpet in furnishings.

Finally, the “TRAMAS” collection portrays the concepts used in the professional life of architect Vital Pessoa de Melo. Among these, the geometry of the rectangular trapezoid and its varied forms of arrangement which, transformed into a carpet, allow you to create, in a playful way, textures that personalize the environments.
