In a video published on social media, the woman confirmed the testimony of a witness obtained exclusively by Earth. According to both, a man, who showed signs of drunkenness, attacked another passenger with a knife.
“My worst nightmare. He went to get some water and they let a man with a knife in the cafeteria stab my boyfriend in the head and they did nothing to get him,” Luana Andrade reported. (See video below)

The victim was reportedly rescued by firefighters aboard the cruise and received stitches to his head. According to the witness, the cruise employees charged R$5,000 for the service.
The witness accuses the cruise staff of negligence, as they failed to identify the suspect or provide treatment to the victim, who sought help on her own from the medical team.
Wanted by Earth, MSC Cruises said it is carrying out an investigation into this incident. “We take all reports regarding the safety of our passengers seriously and are currently conducting an investigation into this incident,” the statement read.
The report also contacted the manufacturer responsible for Navio Numanice, but has not yet received a response. According to information released by Navio Numanice on social media, the cruise took place between the 4th and 8th of this month and departed from the port of Santos, on the coast of São Paulo.
