The statement was posted on the singer’s social media early Monday afternoon. “Chrigor did not feel well, but thank God he is recovering and has undergone precautionary tests. He will probably be discharged this week”, reads the notice.
In the publication, celebrities and friends wished the pagodeiro well. “Be well, my brother,” wrote Pericles. Tatau, of Ara Ketu, also lent support: “‘I’m with you, brother.” Thiaguinho left an emoji to celebrate Chrigor’s medical discharge.

Chrigor began his career in 1993, as the singer of Exaltasamba until 2002, when he left the group, giving way to Péricles on vocals. He continued with solo projects, but returned to ‘Exalta’ for collaborations in 2007. In 2013 he formed ‘Amigos do Pagode 90’ with Salgadinho, ex-Katinguelê, and Márcio Art, a project that lasted until 2015 and has an album released.
Currently, the singer is married to businesswoman Amanda Arantes. He is also the father of three children born from his previous relationship with the music producer Adriana, to whom he was married for 23 years.
