Line 5 Security Guard – Lilás used a seal to join the strap of the sandal to the rest of the footwear

Summary

Manuela Parise, a bartender, said she was saved by a security guard in the Sao Paulo subway who used a seal to join the strap of her sandal to the rest of her broken footwear.

An unusual situation went viral on X (formerly Twitter) involving a female passenger, her slippers and the security guard in the São Paulo subway. Bartender Manuela Parise said she was on her way to work when someone stepped on her shoes on the 5-Lilac Metro Line and “broke” her slipper.

The person who saved Manuela’s day was the subway security guard, who used a seal to join the strap of the sandal to the rest of the footwear.

“The darling wanted to buy me a new slipper, but I said I didn’t need it because I run the risk of going out wearing flip-flops,” Manuela joked, referring to the person who stepped on her foot.

Manuela also shared a photo of the subway security guard

In the comments, Internet users also made fun of the fact that the inhabitants of São Paulo do not usually wear flip-flops. But Manuela resolves the impasse: “I’m from Santa Catarina”.
