The blue shirt with lightning refers to the song Thunderstruck and will be used in the last round of the 2024/25 season
Atletico Madrid has published their alternative uniform for the 2025/26 season, with a look inspired by the legendary rock AC/DC band. The shirt, in Shades of Blue, brings the flashes to the sides in reference to the song Thunderstruck, which plays the metropolitan stadium before each game, during the presentation of the owners and reservations led by the coach Diego Simeone.
“The inspiration comes from the soundtrack that makes each game in our stadium. Some songs are not only listened to, they are heard,” explained the club to the launch of the uniform.
In addition, the yellow details appear in the shield and also in the socks. The shirt still brings the message: “Danger: athletes – there is no time to give.”
