Crispy, very dry, oil-free fish fillet in the Airfryer

Fish Bait Ingredients:

– 400 g of tilapia fillet (or other fillet of your choice)

– 1 clove of minced garlic (optional)

– Salt to taste

– pepper to taste

Ingredients FOR THE BREADING (AIRFRYER):

– 4 tablespoons of wheat flour, or as required

– 1 unit of egg or enough

– 1 cup(s) breadcrumbs, or enough

– 1 teaspoon(s) of paprika

Ingredients TO SERVE:

– lemon to taste, cut into quarters

PREPARATION:

  1. Start by seasoning the fish bait (see preparation).
  2. Separate other ingredients and utensils from the recipe.
  3. Beat the egg with a little salt in a bowl or shallow plate.
  4. Mix the breadcrumbs with the paprika in another bowl or shallow plate.
  5. Place the wheat flour in another bowl or shallow plate.
  6. Wash the lemon before serving, cut it into quarters and set aside.
  7. Preheat the Airfryer for 3-5 minutes at 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Fish Bait – Seasoning:

  1. Peel and mince the garlic (optional).
  2. On a cutting board, cut the fish fillets into pieces of equal size.
  3. Season with minced garlic (optional), salt and pepper. Reserve.
  4. Continue pre-preparation (step 2).

Fish bait – Breading:

  1. Dry the fish bait very well with absorbent paper, they should be very dry.
  2. First, lightly coat them in wheat flour and shake off the excess.
  3. Then add the beaten egg(s) and drain.
  4. Finally, coat the fish fillets in breadcrumbs with paprika and press well so that they are well breaded.

Fish Bait – Airfryer:

  1. Place the fish bait in the basket, without overlapping them: depending on the amount of fish and the size of the equipment basket, cook the bait in several stages.
  2. Close the Airfryer drawer and bake for about 20 minutes.
  3. Halfway through, open the Airfryer drawer and flip the bait.
  4. Continue cooking until golden.
  5. Turn off and remove the drawer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Reorder fish bait in the Airfryer on a serving plate, with lemon slices, accompanied by a Tartar sauce or another of your choice.
  2. They can also be served as a main dish with a salad of your choice.
