Drywall: what it is, features, advantages and disadvantages

Drywall is one of the fastest and cheapest ways to build interiors. It consists of a prefabricated steel and plasterboard structure. This type of structure is perfect for creating walls, niches and built-in wardrobes and ceiling moldings.

Compared to concrete and brick structures, plasterboard is less resistant, but its slabs have both cardboard backs and filler with additive plaster, meeting the technical standards of buildings. Powdered gypsum is a dehydrated gypsum rock which, in contact with water, turns back into stone, which is a very resistant system. Drywall is applied quickly, quietly and with little dirt.
