Petrobras began its activities in the cultural sector in 1982, marking more than four decades of continuous support. Since launching the first public notice for project selection, the company has been a pioneer in providing broad access and transparency in choosing sponsorships, a model now widely adopted by other companies. The Petrobras Cultural Program grew with the aim of supporting the development of Brazilian culture, recognizing its importance in preserving national identity, encouraging diversity and multiple contributions to society.
