Find out which is the best dulce de leche on the market, among national and international brands, after evaluation by experts
Dulce de leche is a Brazilian delicacy, although it also belongs to the culture and gastronomy of its Argentine and Uruguayan brothers. Extremely popular, there are several brands that export the dessert all over the world.
Thinking about the popularity of this product, Paladar decided to carry out a test with the brands most present in supermarkets, both Brazilian and from other countries.
To do this, a team of judges were invited to blind test ten samples of the dessert. During the tasting, the balanced use of sugar, color and consistency of the desserts was taken into account.
At the end of the evaluation, the jury decided that the Argentine brand Havanna presented the best dulce de leche. The product was considered tasty, well caramelized and very reminiscent of the consistency of the traditional Argentine dulce de leche.
