Wholemeal cake with chia

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (tea) chia flour
  • 1/2 cup (tea) wholemeal flour
  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 3/4 cup chopped Brazil nuts
  • 1 tablespoon of yeast
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups warm milk
  • 1/2 cup (tea) honey
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup (tea) refined sugar
  • Margarine and wheat flour for greasing

Preparation method:

  1. In a bowl mix the flour, oat flakes, chestnuts, baking powder and ground cinnamon.
  2. Blend the rest of the ingredients in a blender and add them to the dry ingredients in the bowl, using a wire whisk.
  3. Place in a large, greased and floured English cake tin.
  4. Bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Unmold once cool and serve.
