Roberto Cavalli dies and fashion loses a lover of sensuality

The Italian stylist Roberto Cavalli died this Friday (12), at the age of 83, according to information disseminated on the social network of the designer’s brand, confirmed by news agencies.

The designer was already ill and died at his home in Florence, but the official cause has not been confirmed.

“A life lived with love. It is with great sadness that, today, we say our final farewell to our founder Roberto Cavalli. From humble Florentine origins, Roberto has become a globally recognized name, loved and respected by all. Naturally talented and creative, Roberto believed that everyone could discover and cultivate the artist within themselves. Roberto Cavalli’s legacy will live on through his creativity, his love of nature and his family, whom he adored”, reads the text on the social network brand network.

Responsible for the look with references to Bradil, worn by Anitta, in 2022 at the Coachella Festival, in the United States, Roberto Cavalli was a lover of sensual and ultra-feminine fashion. Animal print was his trademark.

In 2013 he was in Brazil to launch a collection in collaboration with C&A and I interviewed him for the Terra portal. He exalted sensuality and Brazil. Remember the following excerpts.

Brazilian

Dressed in black with an animalier scarf, his trademark, on the occasion he spoke about the beauty of Brazilian women. “He IS number 1 in the world.”

Sensuality

Known for his animal prints and sexy dresses, Cavalli says that a sensual woman has no nationality. “She can be Russian, Brazilian, Italian,” she said, adding that the woman must look in the mirror and feel beautiful.

Animal footprint

Animal prints, according to him, are a gift from God. “I see nature, greenery, animal skin and these details drive me crazy.” He also said that when he caught a fish considered dangerous, he was mesmerized by its skin. “It looked like a leopard.” At that moment he showed the photo of the fish on his iPhone. He said that some of his prints of him were made from photos he took. “You can see the details of the hair,” he said.
