The supermodel proved it when she walked the red carpet for “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.” Cannes Film Festivalon May 15, wearing a dress from the international brand that she first wore in 1996. The black sequin dress – part of Fall 1997 by the late Karl Lagerfeld it originally left the runway more than two decades ago, but today it looks just as good (if not better) than the fashion star.

At 53 years old, Naomi Campbell she wore the dress slightly differently than in 1996. In the 1990s, the sheerness of the garment was not as noticeable because the model wore a slip under her clothes. Now, however, she’s made the powerful move of showing off her black underwear underneath her look.
Her hair for the show was also slicked back dramatically, while in Cannes it was down and brushed out in curls.
Most recently, Campbell walked the runway at Paris Fashion Week in January. She closed the Balmain men’s show (as the only woman to show, we might add) with an eye-catching gold headpiece that ran vertically down her face, along with a large sculptural piece positioned in front of her body. The golden ornament, which appeared to be connected to a belt around her waist, featured a bouquet of metallic flowers held by a pair of hands.
