Golden and crispy bananas, breaded with cassava flour and prepared in the airfryer in a much healthier way

Recipe for 2 people.

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients Bananas

– 3 pieces of ripe silver bananas (or dwarf bananas)

Ingredients TO SPRAY OR BRUSH (optional)

-oil to taste (optional)

MILANESA WITHOUT WHEAT IN THE AIRFRYER Ingredients:

– 1 unit of egg diluted in a little filtered water, or enough.

– 1/2 cup(s) extra fine cassava flour, or enough for breading.

– salt to taste (pinch)

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the recipe ingredients and utensils.
  2. Beat the eggs with a little salt in a bowl or shallow plate.
  3. Place the fine cassava flour in another bowl or shallow plate.
  4. Preheat the Airfryer for 3-5 minutes at 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Wheat-free Milanese bananas in the Airfryer – Breading:

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into pieces, according to your preferences.
  2. Lightly dip the bananas in the cassava flour and shake off the excess.
  3. Next, dip in the beaten egg(s) and drain.
  4. Finally, pass them again in the cassava flour and press well so that they are well breaded.
  5. Brush or drizzle the bananas with a drizzle of oil, this ensures that they create a crispier skin, also adding another layer of flavor to the preparation. However, this technique is not mandatory and, if you prefer, bananas can be roasted without fat.

Wheat-free Milanese bananas in the Airfryer – Cook:

  1. Place them in the Airfryer basket without overlapping them: depending on the quantity of bananas and the size of the equipment basket, cook them in several stages.
  2. Close the drawer of the Airfryer preheated to 200ºC, for about 20 minutes or until golden: the cooking time depends on the size of the bananas and the power of your equipment.
  3. During this time, open the Airfryer drawer and turn the bananas 3 or 4 times so that they brown evenly.
  4. When they are golden brown, turn off the Airfryer and remove the drawer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Reorder wheat-free breaded bananas in the Airfryer on a serving platter and serve as an accompaniment to your main dishes.
