Poached Egg Ingredients:
– 2 units of eggs
– Salt to taste
– pepper to taste THE
PREPARATION:
- Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
- Place a pot of water, the amount needed to submerge the ladle, on high heat.
- Place a serving plate covered with 2 sheets of absorbent paper next to the stove.
PREPARATION:
Poached egg:
- When the water boils, reduce the heat to low.
- Open the egg that you will cook in a bowl: this will facilitate the preparation, which will be done with a ladle.
- Place the ladle in the water to heat for about 30 seconds.
- Lift the ladle and discard ⅔ of the water.
- Carefully transfer the egg to the shell.
- Leave the shell in contact with the water for about 1 and a half minutes until the egg white is almost completely white.
- Immerse the shell in hot water and cook for another minute and a half – in this time you will obtain an egg with a very soft yolk – if you prefer the yolk to be a little more cooked, increase the time.
- Lift the ladle out of the water and tilt it so that some of the water comes out.
- Using a spatula, preferably silicone, remove the egg from the shell and place it on the absorbent paper placed on the auxiliary plate.
- If necessary, dry the egg thoroughly with another sheet of paper towel.
- Repeat the operation with the remaining eggs.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve the poached eggs)seasoned with salt and pepper.
- Serve with toast or spread on plates with the main course.
