EQUIPMENT

Fryer

METERS

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

COALHO CHEESE Ingredients

– 4 units of coalho cheese skewers

– bottled butter to taste (or unsalted butter)

– sugar cane honey (molasses or sugar syrup) to taste (optional)

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. If you use butter, put it in a bowl and melt it for about 20 seconds in the microwave.
  3. Preheat the Airfryer to 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Coalho cheese:

  1. Arrange the cheese skewers on a cutting board, separate the units and discard the sticks (optional).
  2. Brush each cheese unit with melted butter or butter all over the surface – this creates a crispier, golden crust. However, this technique is not mandatory and, if you prefer, the cheese can be cooked without fat.
  3. Place in the Airfryer basket, leaving space between them to allow air to circulate.
  4. Insert the basket into the drawer and close.
  5. Cook for 10 minutes or until the cheeses are crisp and golden.
  6. During the process, turn the cheeses so that all sides are equal.
  7. If you prefer, brush them on the last round with a little molasses/sugar cane honey to give shine to the surface.
  8. When they are toasted and golden, remove the drawer.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve immediately coalho cheese in the airfryer as a snack or as a side dish to your main course.
