Marcelo Serrado reveals panic attack on a flight and warns: ‘Many people go through this’

The actor was diagnosed with panic syndrome in 2020 and has been undergoing treatment for years; “I thought I was cured, but I’m not”

Marcelo Serrado reported a panic attack felt during a flight last Friday, the 24th. In an outburst on social media he said he was on holiday in Orlando, Florida, but that the trip brought about a moment of anxiety.

“When the door of the plane closed, I felt something was going to happen. And it happened,” he said.

According to the actor, in 2020, he had an anxiety attack with panic syndrome. “I took two years of drugs. People tell you, ‘Wow, Marcelo Serrado has a career, a fantastic life. Why did you have all this?’ He doesn’t choose himself, right? ”He recalled. And even if he is in treatment, he believes that a trigger was triggered on this flight.

“I got treatment and yesterday, on that plane, I had a crack inside,” he said. In the report, Serrado said his family was sitting up ahead – and the one who helped him was Ricardo, a man sitting in the next seat. “He talked to me for hours during the flight. That calmed me down. Right now we just need to be welcomed.”

“55% of the Brazilian population suffers from this. I had panic syndrome, burnout and anxiety. All three things together. A combination, right?, he said. “I spent 4 hours talking alone, with eyes closed, I took some medicine and I calmed down. It was a terrible moment, but I’m fine now,” he continued.

Serrado reiterated that he is currently busy lecturing on mental health. “I thought I was cured, but I’m not. We have to live with this. Try to hold on to God, to faith and get treatment, consult a doctor. Everything is fine now,” he concluded.
