Microwave apple brownies: a healthy and practical recipe, not to be missed




A healthy chocolate brownie. flourless, microwaveable and very moist

cup = 240 ml, spoon = 15 ml, teaspoon = 10 ml, teaspoon = 5 ml

Ingredients for the microwave apple brownie:

– 2 apples, peeled, diced

– 2 units of eggs

– 80 g of 70% cocoa chocolate, melted

– 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder

– 2 tablespoons coconut sugar, or more, if desired (or other sugar of your choice)

– salt to taste (pinch)

– 1 teaspoon(s) of sodium bicarbonate

Ingredients FOR GREATING:

– unflavored coconut oil (or other oil of your choice)

Ingredients TO COMPLETE:

– 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts (or anything else of your choice)

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe. For 2 people, a refractory mold measuring 14 cm wide x 20 cm long x 5 cm high was used.
  2. Grease the baking pan with coconut oil or another oil of your choice.
  3. Wash and peel the apples, divide them into quarters and remove the central part with the cores, then cut them into cubes.
  4. Cut the chocolate into small pieces, place it in a non-metallic bowl and melt it in the microwave every 30 seconds.
  5. Chop the walnuts into smaller pieces.

PREPARATION:

Apple brownie (dough preparation):

  1. Place the apple cubes in the food processor, add the eggs and coconut sugar or other sugar of your choice and blend until the apples are finely chopped.
  2. Add the melted chocolate and cocoa powder and beat again.
  3. Add the bicarbonate of soda, a pinch of salt and the chopped walnuts and mix well.
  4. Transfer the brownie batter to the greased baking sheet.

Apple brownie – cook in the microwave:

  1. Place it in the microwave at maximum power for about 6-8 minutes: this time will depend on the power of the equipment and the height of the dough in the pan.
  2. Test with a toothpick: placed in the center of the brownie it should still come out a little dirty.
  3. Turn off and remove from microwave.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve the apple brownie warm or hot.
  2. If you unmold it, let it cool so as not to break it, cut it into slices and heat it for a few seconds in the microwave before serving.
