The architect Rosângela Pena, creator of the project, created a large outdoor space, perfect for relaxing and having fun, with a gourmet space, swimming pool and vegetable garden
Many people do not give up having their own private retreat for moments of fun, rest and renewal. The architect Rosângela Pena, who manages his office, already knows where his clients – a couple and their son – will be in the summer season: the house located in the city of Porto Feliz, in the hinterland of São Paulo. With its over 1,600 m², the building and green area have made the dream of this family who loves to escape from the chaos and frenzy of the capital São Paulo come true.
In the references implemented in the interior architecture project, a wide variety of elements composed of natural materials such as straw, bamboo, wood and clay are present in the choices.
This direction also accompanied the creation of curtains, cushions and bed linen, which used linen as an element that made the house even more welcoming. But in addition to the furniture, the professional also created the covering replacement that already existed, painting and redefining furniture made mostly of loose pieces.
External area
The large gourmet balcony – both in surface area and ceiling height – presents itself as a covered and airy living room both in terms of size and white wooden truss observed on the roof. The architect created a new layout to accommodate the barbecue, worktop with sink and hob, new coverings and carpentry. To complete a generous wooden table, with eight chairs and high stools arranged at the counter.
The swimming pool has been redesigned with a wooden bridgethe small beach for sunbathing and the athermal coating in the surrounding environment which, as it is not heated, owners and guests can sit or walk on without any discomfort.
In the details that could not be missing, the project included a shower, a changing room for the post-dive shower and the oasis formed by the spacious armchair protected by the umbrella.
Contact with nature is the responsibility of orchid garden and vegetable garden!
Social area with living room and dining room
The living room exudes a rustic essence perfect for both cold and cold weather traditional fireplace present on the wall covered in natural stone, like the freshness it offers for the hot season. With its neutral and light base, the decoration highlights the light woody nature of the furniture, the light sofa and the caramel color of the Costela armchair. “The house took on a rustic feel, but without being dated,” comments the architect.
Kitchen
Accessed through the dining room, the feel of a country kitchen with contemporary touches brings a warm feeling to your heart and it’s no wonder. The woody nature of the furniture that follows the worktop, the shelves and the simplicity of the supports for kitchen utensils are combined with appliances that make life much more practical.
Intimate areas
In the extension of the couple’s bedroom, shades of white provide the backdrop for bright and delicate choices small tablethe recamier straw at the foot of the bed, the woody nature of the armchair and the floor lamp for the reading corner and the natural fiber of the carpet, the lamp and the wall lamps.
Home office
Without the rush to return to São Paulo to work, architect Rosângela Pena inserted the home office with the same language seen in the other areas of the house.

One fusion between rustic and industrialwith the metal shower and subway tile half wall they made the bathroom absolutely charming.
