Healthy ingredients for chocolate cake recipe
- 1/2 cup or 60 grams of sweet sprinkling or potato starch or cassava starch
- ½ cup or 50 grams of coconut flour
- ½ cup or 70 grams of brown rice flour
- 3 tablespoons or 18 grams of golden flaxseed flour
- 3 units of organic or free-range eggs
- 3 tablespoons or 30 grams of coconut or olive oil
- 2/3 cup or 130 grams of xylitol or sweetener erythritol or demerara or brown sugar
- 1/2 cup or 110 grams of unsweetened peanut butter or whole almonds
- 4 tablespoons or 20 grams of 100% cocoa powder.
- 1 cup of warm water
- 1 tablespoon of baking powder
- 1 dessert spoon of Vanilla Extract
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves (optional)
- 1 orange (zest only)
Method of preparation
Beat the eggs with the coconut oil, warm water, vanilla extract, cinnamon, cloves, orange zest, peanut butter and xylitol or sugar in a blender.
In a bowl, mix the flour, coconut flour and brown rice flour with the cocoa powder. Add the liquids to the dry and mix gently. Add the yeast and mix quickly.
Place the dough in a medium English pan greased with coconut oil and brown rice flour or cocoa powder. Place in a preheated oven at 180 ° C and bake for 40 minutes.

- 4 tablespoons of 100% cocoa powder.
- 2 tablespoons of Demerara sugar or natural sweetener (erythritol, xylitol, stevia)
- 1 tablespoon of coconut oil or ghee butter
- 1 and 1/2 cup of vegetable milk (coconut, peanuts, chestnuts …)
- 1 tablespoon of green banana biomass (optional)
- 1 tsp cinnamon (optional)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 1 pinch of sea salt
Syrup preparation method
- Bring to a low heat and stir continuously until it thickens (it’s quick!).
- If you think you need more plant-based milk, you can add it little by little.
- Cover the cake with the still hot syrup.
