Banana and oat waffles with few ingredients, quick to prepare and without wheat – great alternative to bread
A quick and easy to prepare banana and oatmeal waffle, without flour and without milk, for a snack or breakfast

Ingredients BANANA AND OAT WAFFLE
– 3 pieces of large, ripe silver bananas. (or dwarf banana)
– 2 units of beaten eggs.
– 1/2 cup(s) of gluten-free oats (or oat flour)
– 1/2 teaspoon(s) baking powder
– cinnamon powder to taste (optional)
Ingredients FOR OILING
– oil to taste
PREPARATION:
- This recipe yields 4 waffles for every 2 servings.
- Consider increasing the quantity, since the waffles keep well in the refrigerator (5 days) and can be frozen.
- Separate the ingredients and utensils to make the recipe.
PREPARATION:
Banana and oat waffles (dough preparation):
- In a deep dish or bowl, break the eggs, add the yeast and beat well.
- In another shallow dish or bowl, mash the banana well with a fork until no large pieces remain.
- Mix the mashed banana and beaten eggs until well incorporated.
- Add the oat flakes and cinnamon powder (optional) and mix well.
Banana and oat waffles (cooking):
- Heat a waffle maker, if using a pan, over medium heat.
- Grease with oil and place a portion of dough (1 almost full ladle) for each wafer and spread.
- Close and cook for about 5 minutes (in the machine) or 2-3 minutes (in a pan, turn it over and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes so that it can brown on the other side too).
- Remove when golden on both sides.
- Repeat the operation with the rest of the dough.
- Remember to re-grease if necessary.
- Place on a rack or auxiliary plate.
Banana Oatmeal Waffles (refrigerate or freeze):
- Once ready, wait for it to cool before freezing it or storing it in the refrigerator.
- Refrigerate in a sealed container for up to 5 days.
- If you choose to freeze them, separate them and put them in the freezer. Once frozen, transfer them to another container of your choice.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve the Banana and oat waffles hot with your favorite accompaniments.
- The wafer can be defrosted and reheated in the microwave for a few seconds.
- Finish with agave syrup or honey.
