The Glass House Where Justin Bieber Once Lived Is Up For Sale For R$200 Million; See What It Looks Like

Built in 2009, the property was designed to provide a 360º view of the entire property

One steel and glass building in Beverly Hills, United States, known as Glass houseIt’s on sale for $35.995 million (about R$200 million, at current prices). The facility has hosted famous people such as Justin Bieber and Meek Mill.

The residence sits atop a 7,300-square-foot lot on Loma Linda Drive. According to Mansion Global, a luxury real estate information and sales portal, the home was built in 2009, when real estate developer Raffi Cohen hired modernist architect Niles — known for his futuristic, angular homes — to build a home for his family that felt open to nature but isolated from society.

“The main thing here was to involve the family in a large internal courtyard, not unlike a traditional Spanish home, where all the family activities would take place,” Niles told Mansion Global.

The property is divided into two structures. The first is called “the salad spinner”, because it has a circular structure, all in glass. The second is the master suite, which offers an almost 360º view. In total there are six bedrooms and an infinity pool.

According to the architect, the idea is for the family to always be “in sight” of each other. “This is very different from normal houses, where everything is separated by corridors,” he emphasizes.

The house was put up for sale at the end of May. Although it was built for family life, it has a reputation as a party place. One of the first owners was Justin Bieber. At the time, the rent was over $50,000 a month (R$273,000 at today’s prices).
