Fortunately, during your vacation, you can reboot and finally take on what you haven’t done for so long. There is a new civil war in the United States: the armed forces of Texas and Florida have opposed the president and are preparing to seize Washington. Before the decisive battle, professional photographer Lee (Kirsten Dunst) wants to interview the country’s leader with her colleagues and so embarks on a deadly foray through the states plagued by violence. The woman is followed by a young fan, Jessie (Cailee Spaeny), who dreams of doing better reporting on the hot spots in the future.

A prequel to the series Game of Thrones (2011–2019), set 200 years before the Lannister Rebellion and depicting the internal conflicts of the Targaryen dynasty. The current king, Viserys I (Paddy Considine), must choose an heir to the Iron Throne to avoid infighting. After his death, his son from his second marriage, Aegon (Tom Glynn-Carney), takes power; his daughter from her first marriage, Reenir (Emma D’Arcy), disagrees with his right to the throne. She declares herself the true queen. Thus begins the War of the Dance of Dragons.

An ideal film for those who are used to spending their holidays in the garden. Denmark, 18th century, retired captain Ludwig Kalen (Mads Mikkelsen) does not want to sit idly by in retirement and therefore decides to embark on an adventure. In the west of the country lies the marshy wasteland of Jutland, inhabited by various gangs – by decree of the king, anyone who can establish a colony there and harvest crops will receive a title and funding. Ludwig decides to try his hand, betting not only all his savings, but also his life on victory.

The long-awaited free interpretation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s masterpiece of the same name. Moscow, in the 1930s, a new production of a young playwright (Evgeny Tsyganov) is trashed by the press and, by decree of the party, is no longer shown in theaters. Angry at such injustice, the man begins to write a novel about life in the capital, which Satan (August Diehl) and his henchmen have decided to visit.

“Killer Vacation” (2024, directed by Sergei Dyachkovsky)

Just during the flight to the Turkish resort, Lyuba (Anna Mikhalkova) announces to her husband Roma (Alexander Robak) that they are about to divorce. The woman is not going to give up her voluntary decision, but she will have to spend several days with her unloved husband in an all-inclusive hotel, because the trip was paid for by her daughter Natasha (Lyubov Aksyonova), and no one wants to upset her. Lyuba decides to take advantage of her freedom and therefore begins an affair with the handsome local Emin (Alim Khokonov) – only in the morning Roma finds her in bed not with a passionate lover, but with an already cold corpse.
