Simple cake with orange syrup

Ingredients:
- 3 eggs
- 1 pinch of salt
- 2 cups sugar (tea)
- 2 glasses of natural yogurt (400g)
- 1 cup melted butter
- 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
- 1 tablespoon of yeast
- Margarine and wheat flour for greasing
Syrup:
- 1 cup (tea) sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
Preparation method:
- Using a stand mixer, beat the eggs with the salt and sugar until they double in volume.
- Gently add the yogurt and butter and mix well.
- Gradually incorporate the flour and then, lastly, the yeast.
- Pour into a greased and floured pan with a 24cm diameter hole in the centre and bake in a preheated medium oven for 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Unmold and place on a large plate.
- Meanwhile, for the syrup, place the ingredients in a pan, place over medium heat and boil for 3 minutes.
- Pour half of it on the cake and then serve with the rest of the syrup in a bowl.
