Prestige pudding cake

Time: 1h40 (+4h in the fridge)

Performance: 8 servings

Difficulty: easy

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (tea) of wheat flour
  • 1 cup cornstarch (tea)
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 cup of milk (tea)
  • 1 glass of coconut milk (200 ml)
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • Grated coconut flakes for sprinkling

Chocolate pudding

  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 2 cans of milk (use the empty condensed milk can to measure)
  • 4 tablespoons of chocolate powder
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
Syrup
  • 1 cup (tea) sugar
  • 1/2 cup (tea) water

Preparation method:

  1. For the syrup, place the sugar and water in a pan over medium heat until it boils and a golden caramel forms.
  2. Spread it out in a 30 cm diameter mould with a hole in the centre and leave it to cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix the flour, starch and yeast.
  4. In a blender, beat the milk, coconut milk, eggs, essence, butter and sugar.
  5. Pour over the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon.
  6. Spread the cold syrup into the pan and set aside.
  7. For the pudding, blend the ingredients in a blender and carefully distribute them over the cake batter.
  8. Bake in a preheated medium oven (180ÂșC) in a bain-marie for 50 minutes or until firm and golden.
  9. Allow to cool and refrigerate for 4 hours.
  10. Unmold, decorate with coconut and serve.
