The launch of Rosewood São Paulo promises to redefine luxury in the capital of São Paulo
Rosewood São Paulo, located in the Paulista Avenue region, recently launched its new and exclusive Penthouse Suite, in Torre Mata Atlântica, which promises to redefine luxury in the capital of São Paulo. This triplex suite, measuring 1,115 square meters, is located on the 25th floor of the building designed by the famous French architect Jean Nouvel, known for the 2008 Pritzker Prize.

The daily rate for a stay in the Penthouse Suite is USD 50,000, equivalent to approximately R$ 274,000 at the current dollar exchange rate. The space, which can accommodate up to eight people, opened at the end of July and stands out not only for its size, but also for its design and the experience it offers.

Rosewood São Paulo, which was completed in January 2022, has French artistic director Philippe Starck for the interior design.

The hotel quickly stood out in The World’s 50 Best Hotels, ranking 27th in the edition following its launch. With a total of 160 rooms and suites, as well as 100 residences, the hotel occupies part of the old building of the Condessa Filomena Matarazzo Maternity Hospital, which operated from 1943 to 1993.

The historic building, listed in 1986, was revitalized in 2011 after the purchase of the land for R$ 117 million by French businessman Alexandre Allard. The R$ 2.7 billion investment led to the construction of an architectural landmark in the city, located at Rua Itapeva, 435, just 200 meters from Avenida Paulista.

Upon entering the Penthouse Suite, guests are immediately struck by the abundant natural light that streams through floor-to-ceiling glass panels into the expansive 158-square-meter living room, with a ceiling height of five meters.

High-end Brazilian furniture, including Oscar Niemeyer’s Rio chaise longue (1978), completes the space.

The suite offers a range of services, including a 24-hour butler and chauffeur, aboard a Range Rover Velar hybrid. Food and beverages are included, with a special selection of wines, champagnes and spirits served directly in the room.
