Mortadella croquette with olives
Time: 40 minutes (+20 minutes in the fridge)
Performance: 15 servings
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 3 tablespoons of wheat flour
- 1/2 cup milk (tea).
- 250 g of minced mortadella
- 1/3 cup chopped green olives
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon of water
- 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
- 1/2 cup (tea) breadcrumbs
- Oil for frying
Preparation method:
- Melt the margarine in a large pan, add the flour and fry for 2 minutes.
- Add the milk a little at a time, stirring continuously until a thick, smooth cream forms.
- Mix the mortadella, finely chopped olives and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
- Place the mixture in the refrigerator for 20 minutes.
- Shape the croquettes with your hands, pass them in the wheat flour, in the egg lightly beaten with water and in the breadcrumbs.
- Fry in hot oil until golden brown, drain excess on absorbent paper and serve immediately.
