The Son of a Thousand Men
This adaptation of Valter Hugo Mãe’s book, filmed in Búzios (RJ), on the coast of Rio de Janeiro and in the interior cities of Bahia, stars Rodrigo Santoro in the lead role, and is directed and written by Oscar nominee Daniele Rezende.
The film tells the story of Crisóstomo, a lonely fisherman who, at the age of 40, feels the emptiness of the absence of a son and dreams of becoming a father. In his search for true and deep relationships, he meets Camilo, an orphan boy, and decides to raise him, building an atypical and unique family.

Still untitled, this family comedy follows Otávio (Leandro Hassum), a father forced to travel with his family to Bariloche, Argentina, to meet his daughter Mariana’s (Júlia Svacinna) Argentine boyfriend.
