Plum and chestnut cake
Time: 45min (+4h in the fridge)
Performance: 8 servings
Difficulty: easy
Ingredients:
- 4 cups crushed honey biscuits
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 egg white
- Brazil nuts for decoration
Filling
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 1/2 cans of cream (300g)
- 1 cup melted white chocolate
- 1 sachet of colourless and tasteless gelatin powder
- 1 cup chopped prunes
- 1 cup chopped Brazil nuts
Preparation method:
- In a bowl, mix the biscuit, butter and egg white until it forms a moist crumb.
- Spread it over the bottom and sides of a 27cm x 12cm cake tin lined with baking paper and press down well with your fingers.
- Place in a preheated medium oven (180ÂșC) for 8 minutes or until set. Remove and reserve.
- For the filling, blend the condensed milk, cream, melted chocolate and gelatine prepared according to the instructions on the package in a blender until a smooth cream is formed.
- Add the plum, the chestnut and mix with a spoon.
- Pour over the dough and refrigerate for 4 hours or until firm.
- Unmold, unmold, decorate with chestnuts and serve.
