Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 cup of chopped and drained hearts of palm (300 g)
  • Salt and oregano to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup cream (tea).
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella
  • 2 cups chopped bacon
  • 1 pack of crustless bread (500g)
  • Margarine for greasing

Preparation method:

  1. For the filling, melt the butter in a pan and sauté the onion.
  2. Add the hearts of palm, season with salt and oregano and fry for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the wheat flour dissolved in the milk and mix until it thickens.
  4. Turn off the heat, add the cream and half of the mozzarella. Mix well and set aside.
  5. In a pan, fry the bacon in its own fat until golden brown.
  6. Drain them on absorbent paper, divide them into 3 parts and set aside.
