The Airfryer “Fried” Fish Fillet recipe is a healthy alternative to traditional fish frying, using the Airfryer to achieve crispiness without excess oil.

Airfryer “fried” fish fillet ingredients:

– 4 fillets of tilapia (sole or white hake) (or white fish fillet)

– 1 lemon (juice and zest) – half for dressing, half for serving

– salt to taste

– pepper to taste THE

– sweet paprika to taste (or paprika) from

– 1 tablespoon(s) of olive oil

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
  2. Wash and dry the lemon, remove the zest from the peel and set it aside on a sheet of absorbent paper.

PREPARATION:

Fish fillet “fried” in the Airfryer – Seasoning:

  1. Arrange the fish fillets on a serving platter, cut the lemon in half, squeeze the lemon juice over it and distribute it on both sides. Keep the other half of the lemon for serving.
  2. Season the fillets with olive oil on both sides.
  3. Season with salt, pepper and paprika or paprika, rubbing with your hands so that the entire surface of the fillets is well seasoned.
  4. Cover the baking dish with cling film and leave to rest for about 10 minutes.

Fish fillet “fried” in the Airfryer – Cooking in the Airfryer:

  1. Preheat the Airfryer to 200°C.
  2. If your Airfryer basket is not non-stick, brush it with a drizzle of olive oil before placing the fillets in. If the basket is non-stick, you do not need to grease it.
  3. Arrange the fillets side by side in the basket, without stacking them, leaving room for good air circulation. If necessary, cook in stages.
  4. Insert the basket into the airfryer and cook the fillets for about 6 minutes for a light and juicy cooking. If you prefer more golden fillets, increase the time up to 8 minutes, but avoid exceeding this time to avoid the fish drying out.
  5. When the fillets have the desired color and are cooked, remove the basket and turn off the appliance.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Arrange the “fried” fish fillet(s) in the Airfryer on a serving plate or, if you prefer, distribute it directly onto the plates.
  2. Sprinkle the reserved lemon zest over the fish and serve with the other half of the lemon on the side.
  3. Tip: Serve with grilled vegetables, green salad or white or brown rice
