Netflix released this Wednesday, September 25, the first images of the main characters of the miniseries “Senna”, a super production that will have its world premiere on November 29.
The unpublished photos show actor Gabriel Leone in the classic pose of the protagonist Ayrton Senna with the red overalls, holding the green and yellow helmet, as well as important figures in the driver’s life, such as parents, friends and Alain Prost (Matt Mella), his main rival on the track.
The miniseries will have six episodes and will show, for the first time in fiction, the pilot’s journey made of overcomings, disagreements, joys and sadness.
The story begins with the beginning of the racing career of the three-time Formula 1 champion, from karting to the move to England to compete in Formula Ford, and continues until the tragic accident that occurred in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix.
The production is directed by Vicente Amorim and Julia Rezende, produced by Gullane and made with the support of Senna Brands and the driver’s family.
