The event celebrates German culture in Brazil and focuses on integrating the culture of these countries
The seventh edition of the Sao Paulo Oktoberfest is already underway and will take place from 11 to 13 and 17 to 20 October, at Parque Villa-Lobos. The festival, which celebrates the traditional culture of Germany, is the official home of the party in Sao Paulo, and offers a menu full of typical delicacies and, of course, lots of beer.
With the German chef Tobias Foellbach of TF Gastro Performance GmbH dishes ambassadors of gastronomic highlights, dishes such as pork shank with sauerkraut, different types of German sausages (Schubliig, Kalbsbratwurst, Frankfurter and Beer), pretzels and German desserts, such as German strudel apples, will be present in the party menu. Other proposals, such as burgers, fried chicken, seafood recipes, with Maremonti, Nash Frango Frito, Unit Burger among the participating restaurants.
The Paulaner beers, served at the Munich Oktoberfest, will be present in the SP edition, whose official brewery is Eisenbahn, which brought Pilsen, Pale Ale and the new Unfiltered styles to the party, with more intense aromas and flavours. Also present at the event was the Schornstein brewery, from Pomerode (SC), with a varied menu: Pilsen, Weiss, Ipa, Ipa Tangerina, Oktoberfest, Bock and Summer Ale.
The Sao Paulo Oktoberfest also offers a rich musical program, with a good mix of traditional German music performances and renowned Brazilian artists, such as CPM 22, Pitty, Roupa Nova, Jorge Vercillo and Fundo de Quintal.
