A breaded banana that does not require frying and uses gluten-free flour for the breading: golden and perfect

Ingredients Bananas
– 3 pieces of ripe silver bananas (or dwarf bananas)
Ingredients Baked gluten-free Milanese (corn starch and fine cassava flour)
– 1/4 cup(s) cornstarch, or enough
– 1 unit of beaten egg, diluted in a little water
– salt to taste (pinch)
– 1/4 tablespoon(s) of paprika THE
– 1/2 cup(s) extra fine cassava flour, or enough for breading
Ingredients TO SPRAY OR BRUSH:
– oil to taste
PREPARATION:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C.
- Separate all ingredients and utensils for the recipe.
- For this recipe use ripe bananas. Peel and cut the bananas into smaller pieces.
PREPARATION:
Banana Milanese without frying and gluten-free:
- In one bowl place the corn starch, in another the beaten egg(s) diluted with a little water with a pinch of salt, and in another the fine cassava flour mixed with the paprika .
- Dip the banana pieces one by one: first in the corn starch (a light layer), then in the beaten egg(s) and finally in the cassava flour mixed with paprika.
- Press well so that they are well breaded.
- Arrange on one or more greased baking trays, without overlapping them.
- Brush each with corn oil, this will ensure an even, golden crust, as if it were fried.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 10 minutes or until golden brown. Open, turn the bananas, rotate the pan(s) and continue for another 10 minutes or until they are golden brown on all sides.
- Remove, dry with paper towels if necessary.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve to breaded banana without frying and gluten-free as an accompaniment to fish, barbecue, feijoada and also as a snack.
