The power of the chakras: understanding what they are, where they are and how they work

Chakras are natural energy centers of the physical, emotional, mental and energetic body. In all, there are seven Chakras that balance the human being, bringing energy to life. The 7 energy points need to be aligned to harmonize, and this can be done in several ways. See below what the 7 chakras are and how they work.

The word Chakra comes from Sanskrit and means wheel, disc, center. They are perceived as vital centers of the human body, responsible for distributing the energy of organisms, through channels known as nadis, to nourish organs and systems. In total, there are seven main Chakras, each with a specific function and position, distributed in a straight line, from the top of the head to the lower part of the torso. When activated, they affect mood and joie de vivre.

The practice of Reiki

Reiki is a therapy developed by the monk Useui Sensei and represents a healing method that channels higher energies, having two fronts: the practice of healing and spiritual practice. It was the monk who created the concept of Shin Shin Kaizen Usui Reiki Ryoho: a method to heal the body and spirit through spiritual energy, connected to the Chakras.

Reiki intensifies the internal circulation of energy in our body, as it has high dimensional vibrations. In this way, this flow of energy returns to its normal state, the person regains his health. Learn more about this technique:

Reiki principle

Reiki is a practice based on an immutable spiritual law, in which the higher vibration is able to transform the lower one.

Operation of the technique

Reiki is a therapy based on the laying on of hands. However, there is no exact sequence of positions.

First, disharmonies in the patient’s body are detected. Then, Reiki is applied until these disharmonies disappear. Usually twelve basic hand positions are performed with possible variations.

In a session, you act first on the mind, then on the body, so that both the physical and the emotional receive the vibrations and reach balance. Therefore, Reiki is able to enhance the life energy and natural healing power of the patient.
