Black Forest Cake
Time: 1h20 (+4h30 in the fridge)

Ingredients:
- 1 cup and 1/2 cup (tea) wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons of chocolate powder
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 3/4 cup butter (tea).
- 1 egg
- 4 tablespoons water (approximately)
Filling:
- 1 tablespoon colorless and tasteless gelatin powder
- 3 tablespoons of water
- 1 can of condensed milk
- 1 sifted egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 cup milk (tea)
- 1 cup chopped canned cherries, drained
- 2 egg whites
Coverage:
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 100 g of milk chocolate chips
- Dried cherries in syrup to decorate
Preparation method:
- In a bowl mix the flour, chocolate powder, sugar, butter and egg until crumbs form.
- Add the water, little at a time, mixing until you obtain a smooth mixture that does not stick to your hands.
- If necessary, add more water.
- Wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough using a rolling pin and line the bottom of a 24cm springform pan with a removable edge.
- Using a fork, poke holes in the dough, place in a preheated oven (200º C) for 10 minutes, remove and set aside.
- Meanwhile, for the filling, hydrate the gelatine in water and set aside.
- In a pan, mix the condensed milk, egg yolk, starch and milk.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring until boiling and thickening.
- Add the chopped cherries and the reserved gelatine.
- Mix until completely dissolved.
- Add the cream and egg whites, mix gently and then spread over the dough.
- Store in the refrigerator for 4 hours.
- Unmold, cover with whipped cream, decorate with chocolate flakes and cherries and serve immediately.
