Corn cake with cheese Ingredients:
– 4 ears of fresh green corn, threshed
– 1 can(s) of condensed milk
-400 ml of milk
– 4 units of eggs
– 100 ml of oil + a little to grease the pan
– 1 cup(s) corn flour + a little for dusting
– 2 tablespoons of corn starch
– 4 tablespoons of sugar (optional)
– salt to taste (pinch)
– 50 g of grated parmesan
– 1 tablespoon(s) of chemical yeast THE
Ingredients for the guava topping:
– 200 g of creamy guava

– 2 tablespoons of water (or enough to dilute)
PREPARATION:
- Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe. For 1 entire recipe, 4 portions, use a round pan (or one with a hole in the centre) with a diameter of 22 cm. Grease it with oil and dust it lightly with corn flour.
- Preheat the oven to 180ºC.
- Thresh the ears of fresh corn with a knife, removing the kernels.
PREPARATION:
CORN CAKE WITH CHEESE
- Place the shelled corn, condensed milk, milk, eggs, oil and sugar (if using) into the blender. Beat until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix the corn flour, corn starch, salt and parmesan. Add the liquid mixture little at a time, mixing gently with a spoon or spatula.
- Add the baking powder and mix gently until incorporated.
- Transfer the dough to the prepared pan. Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 to 1 hour or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
PREPARATION OF THE CREAMY GOIABADA TOPING
- In a saucepan, heat the creamy guava paste with the water. Mix well until a smooth syrup forms. Book.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool for 10 minutes before turning it out.
- Arrange the cake on a serving plate and cover with the creamy guava paste.
- Serve the corn cake with cheese and guava sauce sliced and enjoy your meal!
