North Africa is something new for Brazilians […]

But airlines operating in the country have also announced new features.

The most recent is the announcement of flight sharing between GOL and Royal Air Maroc, Morocco’s largest national airline. Air France

In October, the French airline announced another innovation in aviation and began flights between Paris and Salvador (BA). There will be three weekly flights (Monday, Thursday and Saturday), operated with the Airbus A350, with a capacity of 324 passengers, distributed in Business (34), Premium (24) and Economy (266) classes.

Flight AF476 will depart Paris at 10.25am and land in the Bahian capital at 4.40pm. On the same days, AF465 will take off from Salvador at 6.50pm, with landing scheduled in Paris at 8.20am the following day.

The Portuguese airline has resumed its flights between Lisbon and Manaus, in Amazonas.

The trip departing from the Portuguese capital will be carried out on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 10.35am and will arrive in Manaus at 6.20pm (local time). From Manaus, flights depart at 7.35pm and arrive in Lisbon at 11.10am the following day.

The flight on board the A321 neo aircraft, with a capacity of 154 passengers, lasts 11h45 and stops in Belém, Pará.

GOL and Royal Air Maroc

The latest news in the Brazilian aviation sector is the agreement code sharing announced by GOL Linhas Aéreas and Royal Air Maroc, on international flights between Sao Paulo/Guarulhos (GRU) and Casablanca (CMN).

There are currently three weekly frequencies connecting Guarulhos and Casablanca. From Sao Paulo, departures are on Tuesday, Friday and Sunday. From Casalanca, on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

All flights are operated with Dreamliner 788 aircraft, with 18 seats in Business class and 256 seats in Economy. In Brazil, customers from Morocco will have access to GOL’s breadth of destinations in Brazil, with 65 bases operated from the north to the south of Brazil.

From Casablanca, GOL passengers can continue to Marrakech (RAK), Agadir (AGA), Tangier (TNG), Fes (FEZ), Oujda (OUD), Nador (NDR), Ouarzazate (OZZ), Laâyoune (EUN), Errachadia (ERH) and Dakhla (VIL).

Those traveling with Royal Air Maroc will have access to connections in Guarulhos to destinations throughout Brazil. The agreement will also allow the Brazilian airline to sell interlinear connections to more than 20 destinations in Africa operated by Royal Air Maroc.
