“Housekeeping for a smart housewife” – how to put things in order in just an hour without unnecessary hassle

Hello spring cleaning! Have you become discouraged thinking that all your free time will be spent on this? But it’s not going away: a British cleaner has developed a five-step procedure that will have your house sparkling in just an hour. She suggests going to places your hands don’t usually reach – the result will surprise you.

You clean and clean, but you don’t see anything? “Cleaning for a Smart Housewife” solves this problem by listing only effective cleaning techniques, the effect of which is immediately evident and the house shines! So what should you do?

1. Wash kitchen cabinet fronts

It’s quick and easy, but we almost never do it. Fill a bowl, bucket or sink with hot, soapy water, grab two cloths – one for cleaning, one for polishing – and off you go. Use dishwashing liquid or an all-purpose cleaner and a damp, but not wet, cloth.

2. Clean the glass

It seems that this is difficult and time-consuming, but if you do not wash the frames, and even if you limit yourself to cleaning the windows from the inside, the effect will be noticeable. All you need is warm soapy water, a good clean cloth and a polishing cloth. Don’t wash your windows when the sun is shining: they dry too quickly, you won’t have time to polish them. If the windows are very dirty, add a little vinegar to the soapy water.

3. Clean under furniture

It’s always something you forget about, just like the dirt and crumbs under the sofa cushions. Just grab a vacuum cleaner and properly deal with whatever has accumulated there.

4. Wipe the baseboard

And yet another place your hands can’t reach! Take the crevice tool and clean your baseboards and radiators. For a deep clean of your baseboards, use a creamy cleaner and a soft cloth. It will be like new!

5. Vacuum the house from top to bottom

Yes, yes, without forgetting all the nooks and crannies with cobwebs, ledges and other places where no human has set foot for a long time. Ready! You are smart and a good housewife, and the house is clean – and you can see it right away 😉
