Orange cake without sugar and without flour, so moist that it doesn’t even need syrup and is prepared in 1 bowl

Ingredients ORANGE CAKE WITHOUT SUGAR AND FLOUR
– 4 units of eggs
– 1 cup(s) of erythritol (or xylitol)
– 2 oranges (juice and zest) – 1 orange = approximately 35 ml of juice
– 2 cups almond flour (or raw almonds without peel)
– 50 ml coconut oil + a little for greasing (or other oil of your choice)
Ingredients TO COMPLETE:
– flaked almonds to taste (optional)
PREPARATION:
- For 1 complete recipe (4 portions), use a 20cm diameter baking tray lined with baking paper: grease the baking paper with a little coconut oil.
- Separate the utensils and ingredients for the recipe.
- Wash the orange(s), remove the zest from the peel(s) and extract the juice.
- If you don’t have almond flour, process flaked almonds or even boiled raw almonds, peeled and dried, until they become a very fine flour.
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
PREPARATION:
Orange cake without sugar and flour – Dough preparation:
- Place the eggs in a bowl and sift the sweetener over them.
- Beat with a whisk.
- Then add the orange zest and almond flour.
- Mix again to incorporate.
- Finally, add the coconut oil or other oil of your choice and the orange juice and incorporate.
Orange cake without sugar and flour – Cooking:
- Place the cake dough on the baking tray lined with baking paper and greased.
- Blend and sprinkle over the sliced raw almonds.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 20-30 minutes or until the toothpick comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven, let cool and unmold.
FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:
- Serve the Orange cake without sugar and without flour sliced.
- Store covered at room temperature for up to 3 days.
