American actor and singer Jared Leto (53) has joked a few times about his physical resemblance to the image of Jesus Christ. Born the day after Christmas, he disguised himself several times as a religious leader and for this reason attracted the attention of fans and Internet users.

Born in Louisiana, United States, Jared Leto began his film career in 1995, in Patchwork quilt. Since then, he has appeared in numerous acclaimed titles such as Requiem for a dream (2000), The Lord of Arms (2005), Chapter 27 (2007), Dallas Buyers Club (2013), for which he won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor, and Suicide squad (2016), in which he played the Joker.

In addition to his success in Hollywood, he is also the lead singer of the alternative rock band 30 Seconds to Mars. The artist formed the musical group with his brother, Shannon Leto (54), and was even placed in the Guinness Book of Records, in 2011, for having the longest consecutive concert tour, covering more than 300 shows in a two-year period.

Leto grew up in a hippie commune with his mother, Constance Letostepfather and brother. When she was 12, she moved to Haiti with her family because the matriarch worked at a medical charity. The actor was also the first in his family to graduate from high school.

He is usually very dedicated to his roles and really gets into the characters. For example, to play the character that won him the Oscar, he lost 16 kilos and remained in the role until the end of filming.

Today the artist has 11.9 million followers on his Instagram profile and has been chosen to play Skeletor in the live-action film Masters of the Universe. The actor is preparing to play He-Man’s arch-enemy.
