Three minutes into 2025, Aylla Heloisa was born in the maternity ward of the Albert Schweitzer Municipal Hospital, in Realengo, west of Rio de Janeiro, becoming the first baby of the year to come into the world in the city’s public network.

The baby was born vaginally, weighing 3,435 kilos and 49 centimeters. Her mother, Thalita Marques Nascimento dos Santos, and her grandmother, Jessica Cristina Marques, emotionally celebrated the little girl’s birth.
The family also thanked the hospital staff for their welcome and support during such a special time. Aylla is Thalita’s first daughter and Jessica’s first granddaughter.
“I loved the maternity ward and the whole team. I am grateful for the affection they had with me and my daughter, and for the celebration that was this arrival at the beginning of 2025. I am grateful for today”, declared Thalita emotionally.
