Ingredients BAKED CHIPS

– 2 large Asterix potatoes, sliced ​​(see recipe)

– salt to taste

– pepper to taste (optional) w

– enough olive oil, a drizzle for drizzling and little else for greasing.

PREPARATION:

  1. Separate the ingredients and utensils from the recipe.
  2. Line the baking tray(s), preferably non-stick, with absorbent paper.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C.

PREPARATION:

Baked chips;

  1. Slice the potatoes very thinly and evenly. Use a mandolin, set to the “thickest” part, if you have one.
  2. Arrange the potato slices on the baking tray(s) lined with absorbent paper. Cover again with paper to dry well. Do this by stacking layers of potatoes until you run out of slices.
  3. After drying it well, remove the paper, place it in the center of the pan, season with salt and pepper (optional).
  4. Grease the pan/s, arrange the potatoes without overlapping them in the pan/s and drizzle with a drizzle of olive oil.
  5. Place in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes – keep an eye on it, turning the potatoes halfway through.
  6. The chips will be ready when they are golden and crispy.
  7. Remove from the oven, place on a wire rack, leave to cool.

FINALIZATION AND ASSEMBLY:

  1. Serve to baked chips as a snack, or as an accompaniment to dishes and snacks.
