But the plans have not gone as planned, as he is not taking a medicine called nivolumab. This week, the celebrity had to take legal action to claim the medicine. “I hope you figure it out soon! Cancer doesn’t wait,” she said.

In an interview with CARAS Brazil, Dr. Fernando Zamprognodoctor specialized in Clinical Oncology and coordinator and co-founder of Meridional Oncology, explains that the delay in resuming use of the medicine could be a factor in worsening the patient’s health conditions.

“When we find ourselves in this situation of giving birth or becoming pregnant while we are being treated for cancer, depending on the type of treatment it is possible to carry out, others are not possible due to the risk of affecting the baby. As soon as the birth it is completed outside and we often bring the birth forward in order to be able to bring the patient back to treatment, in this case the mother. Naturally, any delay is compromising, because the disease is out of control, it is growing and she needs to return to treatment as soon as possible”explains.
