1. “I would never let my child eat grapes without cutting them” (Pediatrician)

Whole grapes can pose a serious choking risk to young children. The advice is to cut circular foods, such as grapes, lengthwise into 4 pieces up to 1 year of age and into two slices after that age.

2. “I would never have a trampoline in my house” (Orthopedic surgeon)

While they seem like fun, trampolines are responsible for many injuries, especially to the spine, and can cause serious injuries, such as fractures and strains. Therefore, be very careful when allowing your child to jump on this toy, especially if he or she is under two years old.
