Although Maike praised Giovanna Jacobina’s “natural beauty” on BBB 25, Gracyanne’s sister has already undergone two surgeries in 2022, which completely changed her face, without looking artificial.

In January last year Katyuscia Lurentt, the oral surgeon responsible for the operations, showed Giovanna’s before and after on her Instagram profile and detailed what was done.

“This is orthognathic surgery. Placing the skeleton in the most balanced position possible, restoring all the aesthetic and functional functions that the patient should have had if skeletal growth had been harmonious,” he wrote.

Orthognathic surgery is a procedure performed to reposition the jaw and jaw bones to correct facial imperfections and fit the teeth. It is indicated when traditional treatment with orthodontic appliances does not have the desired effect in correcting bone discrepancies.

The procedure improves patients’ quality of life, self-esteem, chewing and speech.

To further harmonize her face, the vet also underwent rhinoplasty surgery.
