In an interview with Crescer magazine, Mariane revealed that she discovered her pregnancy in August 2024 when she was four weeks old. “It was scary, it took a long time for the record to fall. I was shocked, but after telling our families and receiving support, everything became lighter. Today I can’t imagine myself without my daughter,” he shared.
Zaya’s arrival was also special. In December 2024, Mariane encountered the kitten when visiting the litter of a cat belonging to her husband’s cousin. “When I saw Zaya, I fell in love. He stopped on my foot and took it immediately. It was love at first sight. He didn’t want to start with me or me anymore,” she said.
Mariane believes Zaya sensed her pregnancy from the beginning. “She always liked to stay on her belly, but she had never felt Lorena move. That day, Lorena was moving a lot and Zaya was happy,” she recalled.
